加拿大電影配樂名家及結他手班華．夏希斯(Benoît Charest) ，將率領「美麗都真糟糕樂團」(Le Terrible Orchestre de Belleville)，帶來洋溢懷舊樂風的搖擺爵士夜。屆時澳門文化中心綜合劇院將會化成電影院，一邊足本放映充滿黑色幽默的動畫《瘋狂約會美麗都》(The Triplets of Belleville)，一邊現場演奏電影獲獎原樂，與你一起穿梭上世紀二、三十年代的街頭巷尾，細味經典樂韻。

《瘋狂約會美麗都》講述愛騎單車的小胖子在比賽前夕被黑幫綁架，被帶到大城巿美麗都，他的大近視祖母與忠實狗狗於是越洋過海展開營救，巧遇曾經風靡一時的美艷爵士歌女「美麗都三重唱」，三人義憤填膺決定加入拯救行列，一場驚天動地的瘋狂冒險旅程就此展開。

由享負盛名的動畫導演西拉維．休曼(Sylvain Chomet) 執導的《瘋狂約會美麗都》，被譽為繼《天使愛美麗》後最受矚目的法國電影，上映當年旋風式席捲歐美多個主要電影節，包括英國奧斯卡最佳外語片、紐約影評人協會最佳動畫片等，更獲奧斯卡最佳動畫片提名。而由夏希斯原創的電影配樂同樣獲得高度評價，贏得法國凱薩獎最佳原創配樂。在是次澳門演出中，他將親自率領他的頂尖的樂隊，以小號、長號、手風琴及爵士鼓等多種樂器，加上刀叉茶煲等意想不到的日常用品，即場奏出詼諧有趣的搖擺爵士樂，將動畫中的懷舊、溫馨又搞鬼的氣氛完美呈現。一場結合視覺和聽覺的絕妙饗宴，無論是爵士樂迷或動畫愛好者，都不能錯過！

The Triplets of Belleville: Chasing the old swing

Join in a nostalgic journey that will bring us back the swinging jazz sounds from the exciting streets of Paris and New York in the 1920s and 30s. Canadian guitarist and composer Benoît Charest steps on stage to lead Le Terrible Orchestre de Belleville in a revival cine-concert of the film The Triplets of Belleville.

The award winning animation tells the bizarre fantasy of a young and fat tour de France cyclist who is kidnapped by mysterious square-shouldered henchmen and taken to a brimming metropolis. Things get edgy when his near-sighted grandmother and faithful dog follow his trail to be taken in by a trio of eccentric jazz divas. The rescue chase is on as the unlikely group follows the clues that will take them into an underground speakeasy!

Praised as one of the most high-profile French films, The Triplets of Belleville has taken European and North-American screen-theatres by storm. Directed by well-known animator Sylvain Chomet the movie has visited international film festivals and was nominated for two Academy Awards for Best Animated Feature and Best Music.

Having composed the original score for the movie, Charest leads a remarkable cast of musicians who excel at playing a string of instruments.  From the trumpet and trombone, to the accordion and the drums, the band finds the coolest notes to recreate the witty tone suitable for this retro black comedy projected on the big screen!  Jazz and animation lovers are in for a visual and musical treat that will transport them back to a silent film era. That was a magical time when musicians were the sole responsible for delivering sound, colour and emotion to the first moving pictures. Let’s live the thrill of those days!
